Praia do Francês, whose name come from the colonial time when french people used come this place for "Pau Brazil" (noble wood) explorate, is situated about 7 km from the historical city of Marechal Deodoro, were was born the republic proclamor and first President of Brazil.

Nowadays it is a famous beach at 50km from the airport and 20 km from city center of Maceió. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Alagoas with white, soft sand. The sea color varies from dark blue to light emerald green. In front of the beach, the reefs forme natural swimming pools extended by waves appreciated by surfers.

Our bed & breakfast is in the native village, only 30m far from the sea and close to a preservationa area of tropical seaside coconut-palm trees and dunes fixed by wild vegetation.
