Situation

Praia do Francês, whose name come from the colonial time when french people were using this place for " Pau do Brazil " wood exploration, is situated about 7 km from the historical city of Marechal Deodoro. Nowadays it is a famous beach at 30 minutes from the airport and 20 km from downtown Maceió.

It is one of the nicest beach of Alagoas with white, soft sand. The sea color
varies from dark blue to light emerald green. In front of the beach, the reefs forme natural swimming pools extended by waves appreciated by surfers.

In this dazzling golden beach stays the hotel Aborigine takes place in the centre of the village at 30 m from the beach and close to a preservation
area of tropical seaside coconut-palm trees and dunes fixed by wild vegetation.

How to Arrive ?
Regular buses coming from Maceio city lead into Praia do Francês.
